    Professional Bio

    Dr Julie Fenwick
    is a passionate and successful historian and research academic engaged as curatorial services leader at the Alexander Turnbull Library at the National Library of New Zealand. Dedicated to preserving stories of citizenship and diversity, she recently managed a regional gallery digitisation project with the Australian Museums and Galleries Association and is writing a commissioned history of a community philanthropic organisation. Julie has more than seventeen years’ experience working towards the recognition of minority rights and serving as a community advocate, including as a research archivist at the Indigenous-controlled Aboriginal History Archive at Victoria University in Melbourne.
