Professional Bio

Julie Fenley PhD
is an independent historian and research archivist currently commissioned to write the history of community philanthropic organisation, the Mirboo North and District Community Foundation. Julie has more than seventeen years’ experience working towards the recognition of minority rights and serving as a community advocate, including as a research archivist at the Indigenous-controlled Aboriginal History Archive at Victoria University.
