Sarah Baker is Professor of Cultural Sociology at Griffith University where she is also co-leader of the 'Heritage and Well-being' research theme in the Griffith Centre for Social and Cultural Research. Sarah has published extensively on community archives with a focus on the work of volunteers, institutional sustainability and their role as third places. Her most recent work has explored the connections between heritage and the pursuit of cultural justice for local communities.
